- my journey -
Hi, I’m Vivian
Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, space holder — and forever student
of the human experience.

My path here was never linear.
For years, I ran — from pain, from truth, from myself.

After losing my mother as a young teen, I carried my grief quietly,
hidden beneath strength and survival.
I wore resilience like armour, not realising that true healing
asks for softness, not stoicism.

A decade later, life invited me to sit with what I had buried —
to meet myself beneath the surface.

Working as a radiographer in Australia through the COVID pandemic
brought new lessons in boundaries, burnout,
and the fragility of the human spirit.
I watched countless bodies — including my own, move through
exhaustion and disconnection.

Then, I found yoga.
At first, it was an escape.
But slowly, it became a return.

What began as movement and breath became remembrance —
of joy, of stillness, of home.
It taught me to stay with discomfort, to breathe through what aches,
and to reclaim the pieces of myself I had forgotten.

My journey has taken me across the world — from my 200-hour
foundational training and Reiki Level 1 in Australia,
to a 300-hour YTT in the Galápagos Islands.

Now based in Vancouver, BC, I hold space for others on their own
path of remembrance —
through movement, mindfulness, and heart-led community.
Recently, I co-created Reset with Intraset —
a multi-sensory experience weaving sound healing,
intuitive movement, breathwork, meditation, and music.
These gatherings offer a gentle reset for the nervous system —
an invitation to reconnect with the body and awaken the
inner landscape.

Yoga, for me, is joy.
Discovering it. Embodying it. Sharing it.

The joy of remembering who I am.
The joy of feeling so alive.

Joie de vivre — the joy of life.

Welcome to Vivre Yoga.
